Alexandre Dantas, founder of Chef Foods

Alexandre Dantas · Founder

The story begins long
before the company.

It begins with Alexandre Dantas, who started his journey at 18 as a baker’s assistant. His dedication took him through leadership roles until he became National Manager at Fleischmann. With more than 35 years in Baking and Confectionery, he turned all that knowledge into his own business and, 23 years ago, founded Chef Foods. Today it is a plant of more than 6,000 m², with 100+ employees, delivering quality to customers all over Brazil.

Market knowledge

We know where there is room
for your brand to grow.

In the categories we produce, a few players hold most of the volume, and private label still has a small share. That is exactly where co-manufacturing opens the door to the shelf.

Cheese Bread · 5,000 t/month private label already holds 26% of retail
Ready Meals · 5,000 t/month BRF and JBS hold ~87%
Garlic Bread · 4,000 t/month a fragmented category, open to new brands

Why now

The frozen aisle is where
a brand wins or loses the month.

A booming category

Ready meals and frozen foods keep growing fast in Brazilian consumption.

Two players dominate

BRF and JBS hold ~87% of ready meals, a real opening for agile brands.

Stockouts become opportunity

The big players’ out-of-stocks create demand your brand can capture.

Your recipe, your margin

Outsourcing manufacturing frees up capital and speeds up your SKU’s time-to-shelf.

Next step

Your next SKU can come off our line.

Send us the recipe this week and we will return a pilot batch the next. You taste it, retail approves it, and your brand hits the shelf with big-manufacturer standards.
